General Flight Itinerary

We leave early on Wednesday morning, and typically arrive in Washington D.C. at about 3-4 p.m. Upon arrival, we load on a chartered bus which will take us to our hotel in Washington D.C.

=========================================================================

Our first full day in Washington begins with a breakfast at the hotel. From there we’re off to the Korean War Memorial, Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials!

Other excursions may include stops at the Iwo Jima Memorial, WWII Memorials and the National Archives to view the Constitution. We always make a trip to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Our return trip is scheduled for Saturday.

Most of our breakfasts and dinners are eaten at the hotel, and we usually have a box lunch brought to meet us where we are at that time.

Honor Flight of Central Oregon (HFCO) is one of 130 regional “hubs” in 44 states participating in the national Honor Flight Network (HFN) program honoring Korean War veterans by taking them to Washington, DC to visit their National Korean War Memorial.
